NaNoWriMo Plotting Bonanza

NaNoWrimo is almost upon us! Whether or not you are planning to try your hand at writing 50,000 words in November, come learn about how to plot a novel. A basic system of story structure to guide your writing will be covered. You’ll also have time to get to work and meet other participants. Get a jump start on your new novel! The course is co-taught by Tracy Gold and Justin Sanders.

Indie Author Day: The Art of Self-Publishing

10/8/16 at 10 a.m. at the Hereford Branch of the Baltimore County Public Library

As part of Indie Author Day, Tracy Gold and Justin Sanders will be presenting about “The Art of Self-Publishing.”

In this session, walk through the process of bringing a book from a manuscript to a physical object. This session will cover your options for creating a physical book, from designing it yourself, to using an automated system, to working with a designer. We’ll discuss different sizes, typography processes, and handmade elements.
